They don't build them like this any more! Here is a rare old Gal with lots of "Style" and loaded with "Cool". Many cars from this era are gone, either they have rusted away or traded for their solid metal construction value. This car has been kept nearly untouched by the elements in a garage since 1962. It has a 3 speed on the column, near original in line 6 cylinder/ solid motor no smoke, runs and sounds great. It needs to be converted to 12volt.
I have it tagged and insured and have driven it short distances. The only thing I know that it needs are brake cylinders and details, details, details. For those of your that have brought an old car back to life you know that details are the fun part. I bought it from a family member with the plan to fully restore it myself, I gutted the inside, had the front and rear seats rebuilt with mocha tweed it looks really classic. I also have a new headliner, floor carpet. These old cars are a good investment that wont loose value. I just don't have the time to put in to this old gal with 3 other cars. Fully restored value can range from $25, 000-$30, 000. There will always be a unique market for "Old American Cars". So keep in in the family or make a return on your investment.
