Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself(Wayne Winston from Chattanooga Tn.) and tell you about my American Motors venture. Over the past 30years I've owned 5 diffenrent AMC Javelins. The first was a 74 Javelin AMX 304 cid engine auto trans. Next came a 73 Javelin 360 cid w/ 3 spd tranny. Found a 72 javelin sst and 74 javelin. The 72 sst had been converted to a Chevy power plant 350 engine and tranny, the 74 was a 6 cyl. w/ auto tranny bought both for $1200. My current is a 72 AMX Z code car(401 cid)727 torqueflite tranny.Can be seen @ mycarpic.com.
