Here is some info on my Fiat 126. This car was the replacement for the Fiat 500, it was built in Italy with an air cooled engine.
This model was not imported to the U.S. and this is possibly the only one available that is street legal and is restored and
customized. The car was completely redone in Sicily by expert custom
mechanics, electricians and painters.
Under the hood the 4 speed transmission was rebuilt, the engine was
rebuilt with shaved heads, Weber 40mm racing carburetor, hand made
racing cam shaft, 40mm valves, custom racing headers, 4 quart Abarth
oil pan, Abarth valve cover, new clutch, brakes, rebuilt starter, Koni
shocks and 13" mag wheels. A fan was added to the engine
compartment for extra cooling.
Hand made wheel flares and a custom front spoiler were installed. The
parking lights were replaced with Street Glow parking/driving lights,
ARC grill and a rear spoiler, sport side mirrors, sunroof, side flairs and
a ram air roof intake. A new burgandy red paint job completed the
outside.
Inside the front seats were replaced with a pair of Cobra buckets, a
leather/carbon fiber steering wheel (only sold in Italy) RCI 4 way racing
seat belts, new carpet, Jenson am/fm/cd with 4 speakers and custom
carbon fiber dashboard with digital gauges.
This car has the original odometer but only has about 40 miles on the
rebuild.
Fun to drive and a Show car that will gain value with time. This is an
opportunity to own a rare piece of Fiat history. Many assorted spare
parts are included as well as an extra shaved head.
