I have spent 3 years building this car from the ground up, the only thing left from the Fiero is the frame itself, everything else is either new or custom built by me. The reason I’m selling it is easy, I love to build things, but when their finished it’s time to find a new project to build. This one is complete and ready for a good owner. This car is extremely fast and very agile, it would be at home on the drag strip, race course or on a Sunday afternoon drive in the country, and the best part about it is this car will drive all day on the highway and get 30+MGP.on 87 octane gas. This car has won numerous shows in my area, which goes to show the quality and workmanship. If I was to estimate I would have to say I have over $40,000 in time and materials invested in this vehicle. The following is a list of everything that I have done to this car. A. Engine
1. 3.8L series II supercharged motor with just under 300 HP and 24,000 miles.
2. 4 speed automatic transmission with factory performance shift package.
3. 4 core custom radiator with thermo controlled electric fan.
4. Additional rear fan for engine compartment cooling. Also thermo controlled.
5. 1-5/8” custom headers to catalytic converter, through to straight stainless steel custom exhaust mounted thru the center rear.
6. Reinforced cradle w/custom made aluminum solid cradle mounts.
7. All urethane motor and transmission mounts.
8. Custom made aluminum dog bone with urethane bushings keep engine rock solid.
B. Front Suspension
1. Uneven upper and lower tubular A-arms, widened 2 inches.
2. Fully adjustable Heim ends all around.
3. Moog racing ball joints.
4. AFCO adjustable coil over shocks.
5. New quick ratio rack and pinion steering.
6. 1” Anti-sway bar with urethane bushings.
C.Rear Suspension
1.Custom lower A-arms with urethane bushings widened 4”.
2.Moog racing ball joint.
3.Custom built, fully adjustable coil over shocks w/AFCO springs.
4.Spring perches widened land reinforced.
5.Custom bump steering adjustment rods.
C.Brakes
1.11” double vented rotors, all 4 corners.
2.Stainless steel flex lines all around.
3.Complete stainless steel brake lines through out.
D.Body
1.NAF GT40 Mark I – Heavily modified.
2.Modified front hood to open forward with internal hydraulic assist hinges and catch opens both manually and electrically.
3.Rear bonnet latching modified heavily to lock solid
4.Modified rear bonnet to allow exhaust through center and stiffened hinging areas and additional areas as needed for strength.
5.Added rear spoiler.
6.Chip guard bottom 10” around whole car.
7.Ford chrome yellow and black base coat, clear coat finish. Excellent quality.
E.Interior
1.Completely gutted and redone.
2.Center council chopped and modified.
3.GT40 dash kit – covered in black and yellow vinyl.
4.Black and yellow vinyl used through out interior.
5.Auto-meter sport comp gauges.
6.JVC AM/FM – CD player with 4 speakers, Sony Explode.
7.Custom door panels with speakers built in and power window switches.
8.ARP racing seats, fully adjustable.
9.4-point racing harnesses.
10.Tilt steering wheel with cruise (cruise control not hooked up).
11.Air conditioning.
12.Power door locks.
F.Tires and Wheels
1.American racing Torx Thrust wheels – 10 x 15 rears, 7-1/2 x 15 fronts. Standard Chevy 5 x 4-1/2 bolt pattern both front and rear.
2.Tires – P295-50R15 (Rear)
P245-60R15 (Fronts)
3.McGuard lug nuts.
