1970 GMC full size pickup. I call it The Pleaser.
Engine is a 1976 454 big block with a 675cfm Holley Truck Avenger Carb. Has Stainless Steel Heddman Headers with 3 inch dual exhaust. Three speed auto 350 transmission was newly rebuilt in 2006 and hooks up to 4.10 gears in the axles. Suspension has about an 8 inch lift on front and rear leaf springs. Front axle is a little newer with disc brakes and dual steering damper. Rides on 35x14.5 inch TSL Thornbird tires mounted to chrome, Weld brand rims. Awesome for wheelin', smooth on the streets. The frame is in excellent shape and the truck has never seen a Michigan winter so there is very little rust on the undercarriage or body. The paint job is about 10 years old and still looks like new. However, there are a few minor scratches and some of the trim needs to be rechromed. Almost all the interior equipment is original except for the tape deck and speakers. The seat cover, floor pans, and dash are all in very condition. The Pleaser is a spectacular ride guaranteed to turn heads from every street to every hill side.
