THIS RARE 1987 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE 5.0 GT has only 39611 original miles and has been garaged it’s whole life. Leather power seats with lumbar support in both front buckets. It looks and runs just like new. I have owned it for about 14 years and it has been used mainly for car shows. I have seen many cars in my travels and shows and have never seen one like it, with the scarlet red with titanium ground effects Grey interior. The top is in excellent condition. Remember, this is all original paint, leather, and I have ALL PAPERWORK INCLUDING, original temp vehicle permit, warranty booklet, sound system owners guide in original plastic pouch, operating guide, owner card warranty identification card, all of which are in mint condition, put together in a nice book.
Full documentation since new. An excellent, unmolested "reference" example. Everything’s original except the battery, tires, and minor consumables like oil filter. Unusually equipped for a GT convertible, with a 5-speed and no air conditioning, obviously ordered for open-air performance. This is an excellent example of the premier muscle car of the 80's and 90's, and should only appreciate in value as these cars are harder and harder to find in excellent original condition. Car is also equipped with power steering, brakes, windows and top. A CD changer has been tastefully integrated without disturbing the integrity of the car. Comparable vehicles in Hemmings Motor News and the Ford Auto Trader are $12,000 to $15,000 (05-03-01). Book value in NADA is not representative of this car, as most of these vehicles were used hard, modified, and driven extensively, and NADA value reflects this.
